AC Shadows Unveils Surprising AoT Event for Holiday Season

In a surprising crossover event that defies usual expectations, Ubisoft has announced an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering free extra story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Adventure Uncovered

According to the formal announcement, "A mysterious confrontation pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where hints of forbidden practices and fearsome changes resonate through the obscurity." The plot presents a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who charges the duo with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a clandestine cult.

The adventure concentrates on "strange experiments and a fearsome adversary" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Places and Changes

The teaser highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser finishes with a powerful moment showing a character, probably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Rewards and Bonus Content

Players who accomplish the quest will receive an special katana in addition to multiple artifacts concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
